Paint by Numbers Kit

1. Do I need experience with painting to do Painting by Numbers?

  • No, you do not need any experience. It's suitable for children aged 5 and up, as well as adults. It's a fun activity for weekends or school holidays. The instructions are easy to follow, and no painting knowledge is required.
  • Producing your own artwork for your home is something to be proud of.
  • It also makes a great gift for family and friends—something unique and treasured for life.

2. What are included in the ArtistIsU FRAMED painting by numbers kit?

  • Pre-stretched canvas on a wooden internal frame—ready to hang when complete.
  • High-quality, non-toxic acrylic paints—ready to use on canvas.
  • Paint brushes—made of high-elastic nylon and solid wood in different sizes for various thicknesses.
  • Mini easel for display (10x15cm size only for kids).
  • Screws and hooks for hanging your masterpiece.
  • Painting template and instructions to assist and make the painting process easier and more fun.

3. Is the finished painting going to look the same as the product picture?

  • Overall, the completed artwork will resemble the product picture closely, though no two paintings are exactly the same due to techniques used and the amount of paint applied.
  • Colour variations are acceptable, such as a lighter shade of blue instead of the light blue in the product picture.
  • However, a significant colour difference (like blue vs. green) would be considered a defect.

4. What size should I choose?

  • We recommend 20x30cm and 30x40cm for young children, as these sizes are simpler but still large enough for kids to explore their artistic abilities. Older children (12+) may enjoy the 30x40cm and 40x50cm size.
  • Adults can choose from other sizes, with 40x50cm and 50x65cm being popular for living rooms, dining rooms, or bedrooms.

5. Is the paint included in the kit safe to use?

  • Yes, the paint is non-toxic and safe for both children and adults.

6. How long does a paint by numbers painting take to complete?

  • Completion time depends on the artwork's complexity and size. Some may take a day, while others take longer. The best part is that you can work on your painting at your own pace. If you need help, feel free to contact our team.

7. Do you need to stretch a paint by numbers canvas before painting?

  • No, our FRAMED kits come with pre-stretched cotton canvas. Just open the package, set up your area, and start painting.
  • For Unframe kits, you just need to unroll the canvas and begin painting. Once you finish, you can choose to have it framed for display.

8. Do you need water for paint by numbers pictures?

  • Water is only needed to wash your brushes before, during, and after use or when changing colours. Three brushes are provided, enough to complete the project. If you need help, visit our How to Paint by Numbers page.

9. How do you blend in a paint by numbers project?

  • Blending isn't necessary, but you're welcome to mix colours to create unique shades if you want to get creative!

10. Can paint by numbers teach you how to paint?

  • Yes! Paint by numbers is ideal for beginners. The kits guide you through the process, so you can create artwork you're proud of.

Payment, Postage, Shipping & Returns

11. What payment methods do you accept, and are my credit card details safe?

  • We accept all major bank debit and credit cards (e.g., VISA, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, bank cheques, money orders, or direct electronic fund transfers.
  • We use PayPal for payment processing to ensure your card details are safe. We never store your credit card information.
  • You're also protected by PayPal's buyer protection program to ensure your order arrives safely.

12. What is your cancellation or return policy?

  • If you change your mind, you can request for a cancellation as long as the product has not been shipped. Please provide proof of purchase. Once your order has been shipped, cancellations or returns are no longer possible.
  • The buyer is responsible for a $10 cancellation fee which will be deducted from the final refund.

13. What if the product is damaged or not as described?

  • If the product is damaged or incorrect, contact us within 5 business days for a free replacement. If the item is out of stock, we'll issue a full refund.

14. Where do you ship from, and what are the shipping costs?

  • Ready-Made Paint by Numbers kits, Scratch Painting kits, Cross Stitch kits, Pour Bear kit, Puzzles are shipped from our Brisbane warehouse. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your address and item quantity.
  • Made-to-Order and Custom Paint by Numbers kits, Metal Plate Paint by Numbers kits, Christmas Ornaments kits, Christmas Greeting kits, Calendar Paint by Numbers kits are shipped from our overseas factory with a flat rate shipping cost as specified on each product.

15. How long is shipping, and who is your shipping provider?

  • Ready-Made items shipped from our Brisbane warehouse are usually dispatched within 24 hours Monday to Friday. Delivery within Australia is by Australia Post and is usually delivered between 3-7 business days (longer for remote areas).
  • Made-to-Order and Custom Made items are dispatched from our overseas production facility. Please allow approximately 14 business days for delivery.

Gift Certificates

16. How can I purchase a gift certificate?

  • Purchase gift certificates from our website. They are emailed to the recipient. The value ranges from $25 to $1000, and they expire in 1 year.

17. How can I redeem a gift certificate?

  • At checkout, enter the gift certificate code in the 'Redeem Gift Certificate' box.

18. How can I check the balance of my gift certificate?

  • To check the balance, go to the 'Gift Certificate' section on our website and click 'Check remaining balance.' Enter your gift certificate code to view the remaining balance.
